Announcing New Space

Galerie Bromer - Zurich

Galerie Bromer is proud to announce the opening of its second location at Rämistrasse 3 in the cultural centre of Zurich on September 11, 2020.

The new gallery with over 300 m2 exhibtion space will occupy the former premises of the heritage company Bächtold Sport in the historical Denzlerhäuser, built in 1910 by the Art Nouveau architects Bischoff and Weideli, famous for the design of the neighbouring Grand Café Odeon. The area around the Rämistrasse, including the Kronenhalle, the Opera House and the Kunsthaus, has always been an important meeting ground for artists and intellectuals in Zurich. Therefor it is an honour for the Galerie Bromer to move to this historical location and to contribute to its further development with its programme.

With the opening of the new location, the management is also expanding: Gabriela Gonzalez (33 y) joins the team as partner and director to support Pier Stuker (31 y), partner and director of the gallery since 2018. The young gallerist duo will be supported by the curator Samira Tanner (31 y) and the gallery assistants Mirjam Strasser (30 y) and Evelyn Bangerter (29 y).

In the midst of the Corona crisis, the young team is venturing to expand their gallery with confidence in their programme and ideas. The vernissage of the opening exhibition "Rudolf Urech-Seon - A Foreign Visitor" will take place on September 11, 2020 starting at 6 pm.
